| ISP ACTIVITIES Primarily through this website, ISP serves as a world-wide "virtual" forum for individuals and organizations who wish to help explore and develop methods to avert or alleviate human suffering caused by the willful or unwitting actions of individuals through governments, institutions, professions, or social groups. * Through this website, ISP supports and encourages discussion and debate on key panetic issues. * It convenes conferences and debates on such issues. * It sponsors an annual Ralph G.H. Siu Memorial Lecture and a companion debate on a panetic topic relevant to world concerns at the time. * It sponsors and encourages interdisciplinary research on panetic questions. * It encourages applications of panetic analysis to actual decision-making in order to advance and refine the discipline. * It publishes a journal. * It publishes books relevant to the advancement of panetics as a discipline. * It encourages the teaching of panetics as a discipline and provides syllabi and textbooks to support such teaching.
